Construction Management Technology A.S. Degree

This program offers training of management-level employees for the construction industry, as well as preparation for transfer to a four-year college or university construction program.  Graduates may be employed by contractors, business and government agencies in project planning, estimating, and project coordinating.

Construction Managers plan, direct, or coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with constructing and maintaining structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such as carpentry or plumbing. Career opportunities require more than an associate degree.
