Early Childhood Education, Site Supervisor A.A. Degree

The administration of early care and education programs is the main focus of this degree. Topics include administration, supervision, and coordination of staff in early childhood settings.  Along with documented experience, this program leads to the Site Supervisor Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and is required of those individuals supervising a publicly funded early childhood education site.

Career Options/Outlook:

Students completing this degree can work in administering early care and education programs. They will be qualified to supervise and coordinate early care and education program staff. Additionally, this degree provides the educational coursework that serves as the core curriculum for the early childhood education profession. Along with documented experience, this certificate leads to the Site Supervisor Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and is required of those individuals supervising a publicly funded early care and childhood education program.
