CRC’s art curriculum offers introductory and intermediate-level courses in painting, watercolor, digital art, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, and design, as well as courses in art appreciation and art history. Through the program’s art theory and art practice classes, students develop an awareness and understanding of the materials, tools, rationale and significance of art in society.
Curators administer collections, such as artwork, collectibles, historic items, or scientific specimens of museums or other institutions. May conduct instructional, research, or public service activities of the institution. Career opportunities require more than an associate degree.
