Fire Prevention A.S. Degree

The fire service is one of the most dynamic employers in the country.  This CRC program provides the student with updated skills and knowledge necessary to complete and successfully apply for fire service positions.  The curriculum serves as an inservice program and a pre-employment program for students seeking employment or advancement in the profession of fire prevention.

Career Options/Outlook:

Firefighters control and extinguish fires or respond to emergency situations where life, property, or the environment is at risk. Duties may include fire prevention, emergency medical service, hazardous material response, search and rescue, and disaster assistance.
