Horticulture, General Horticulture Certificate

This certificate provides the students with the essential knowledge and skills for entry-level employment in the Horticulture industry. Students gain core knowledge and skills in basic plant science, soil science, integrated pest management, and plant identification and use. Students then complete 2 advanced horticulture courses of their choice. This is the base certificate in a stackable series that leads to an additional certificate or degree in Horticulture.
