This program provides the basic skills necessary for a career in business while allowing the student to select courses that fit individual needs and desires. The degree also meets some of Sacramento State’s lower-division coursework for a BS in Business Administration with an MIS concentration.
Computer Systems Analysts analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software. Career opportunities may require more than an associate degree.

The CRC Honors Program is designed specifically for academically accomplished students and for students with the potential for high achievement. Students who complete 15 units or more in honors-designated courses will earn special recognition as an Honors Scholar, a distinction that may entitle the student to guaranteed transfer and scholarship opportunities at select transfer colleges and universities.
