Economics AA-T Degree

This AA-T degree in Economics provides students with a major that fulfills the general requirements of the California State University for transfer. Students with this degree will receive priority admission to the California State University system with junior status. The AA-T may be obtained by completing 60 transferable semester units with a minimum of 2.0 GPA.

Career Options/Outlook:

Economists conduct research, prepare reports, or formulate plans to address economic problems related to producing and distributing goods and services or monetary and fiscal policy. May collect and process economic and statistical data using sampling techniques and econometric methods. Career opportunities require more than an associate degree.
