Information Technology Associate A.S. Degree - Local GE

This degree allows students to acquire basic core Information Technology competencies that will prepare them for a career in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, and related fields.  The degree prepares students to enter the workforce as entry-level computer or network support technician or pursue a bachelor’s degree in managing information systems.

Computer Network Support Specialists analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.  Career opportunities may require more than an associate degree.
