Option 1: Student takes all four Spanish course (401, 402, 411, 412) unless the Spanish Department places you out of one or more courses. (See Option 2 if you have placed out of one or more of this first list of courses.
Option 2: If a student places out of any core Spanish courses in Option 1 and is not awarded units for that course, the student will need to take additional units to compensate for the course/units required to reach at least 18 total units for the major. Courses from this list:
